Up Aqua Underwater Ceramic Filter is a very simple design yet sophisticated. The focus behind this filter is biological which the body is made of porous hardened ceramic. The Ceramic Filter acts as as a permanent area harboring beneficial bacteria. The internal of the filter is filled with expanded ceramic media and the filter is topped off with a mechanical sponge. Like most sponge filters, Up Aqua’s Underwater Ceramic Filter is powered by air. Air pump feeds the tubing which leads to the filter.
